“Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place & rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming & going that Jesus & His apostles didn’t even have time to eat.” Mark 6:31 NLT

.WHAT SPIRIT WHISPERS DID YOU HEAR?…
+How does Joshua’s declaration “But as for me & my family, we will serve the LORD” resonate with you?
How will you respond wholeheartedly “So we, too, will serve the LORD, for He alone is our GOD?”…what gives me pause about this confession? What do I embrace of it?
+How do I acknowledge that ”The LORD is GOD” of my life?
How is my self-image different knowing HE made us, we are HIS people, His sheep?
+JESUS’ speaks story “to show that they should always pray & never give up”…
How will I apply this to my life beginning today?
Where am I always praying?
Where am I never or seldom praying?
Where am I ready to give up?
LORD, I will continue to persevere & pray for…
How will I wrest rest from my busyness & find a “quiet place” to pray & persevere with CHRIST?
How is my self-image different knowing HE made us, we are HIS people, His sheep?
Our culture is so individualistic, when we think about being Jesus’ sheep, I try to embrace or emphasize the idea of “flock”. My community is so important to my self-image, and to being with God.

Such a helpful contrast, Chloe!
